Recovery begins here.

We offer consultations for individuals and families to address addict behaviors, resources, treatment, interventions, drug testing and more. When you don't know what to do, we are the first call.

Free Narcan

Be prepared.

Knowing what to do in an opioid overdose situation can save a life. Narcan is a life-saving medication that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose. We provide it for free to individuals and organizations.

Sober Living Home

The road to recovery.

Sober living provides a greater chance of long-term success through a difficult journey in recovery. We operate a home in Fresno and our recovery rate is 30% higher than the national average.

 

Family Support Group

Led by Flindt Andersen.

There is power in community. We offer family support group meetings Wednesday nights 6:30pm - 8:30pm at our offices and on Zoom. Meetings are free to attend and open to everyone.

The Film Project

The Don’t Hide The Scars Film Project is a documentary-style film series that takes a hard look at the increasing dangers of the opioid and fentanyl crisis in our communities through interviews and stories most communities aren’t aware of.

Get FREE Narcan.

Knowing what to do in an opioid overdose situation can save a life. Narcan is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of opioid overdose.

Your child may not be abusing opioids, but what if the friend he brings to your home is?

Our Narcan (naloxone) training course will teach you how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Narcan. We regularly connect with individuals, businesses, law enforcement, educators, faith groups, parents, caregivers, senior living facilities, veterans and more.

PAIN is a licensed Narcan distributor in the state of California and the leading provider in the Central Valley.
 

Making noise.

Flindt Andersen, in recovery since 2001, founded PAIN in 2009 with a mission to make some noise: to make the realities of addiction, recovery and drug culture widely known. To drive awareness and advocate change in at-risk communities that ultimately saves lives.

How to recognize substance abuse indicators + warning signs.

It’s difficult to know whether or not someone close to you is abusing drugs or alcohol - particularly when school or work can take them out of your daily life. If you’re concerned that your child may be suffering from addiction or alcoholism, consider the major indicators and warning signs. - and learn what you can do about it.

Nearly everyone who is abusing substances gives off at least several signs of their addiction. However, all of these signs can be boiled down to three major areas: physical changes, emotional changes, and social changes.
